Additional Expenses

We also recommend you bear in mind the following additional expenses:

  • Visa application fee: EUR €300-400 (may vary)

  • Travel to the nearest embassy or consulate for a visa interview

  • Airfare costs to and from Paris, which vary according to the time of year (ISIC cards may provide some discounts)

  • Housing security deposit of EUR €250

  • Personal possessions insurance

  • Approximately EUR €1,000 will be needed to cover expenses during the first few weeks before receiving your stipend
